Summer / South

What do you think of when you hear the word “Summer” or “South”? I think of warmth, brightness, freedom, adventure, playtime, and being in the present. I also think of fully experiencing something (gut feelings) and freely expressing ourselves.


The Wild, Indigenous OneFull-bodied Feeling – Instinctive self – Sensuous, emotive, curious – Communion with others – At home in their bodies.

Archetypes/Examples: Peter Pan, Artemis (ancient goddess of wilderness), the Green Man (nature). Author Anais Nin, poet Walt Whitman, feminist Naomi Wolf, environmentalists John Muir and Jane Goodall.
